What is Zamzam Water?
Zamzam water is sacred water from the Zamzam well, located about 20 meters east of the Kaaba in Masjid al-Haram, Makkah. It has been flowing for over 4,000 years.
Origin
According to Islamic tradition, the well miraculously sprang forth when baby Ismail (Ishmael) was thirsty in the desert. His mother Hajar (Hagar) ran between the hills of Safa and Marwah seven times searching for water, and Allah commanded the angel Gabriel to strike the ground, causing water to gush forth.
Properties
Zamzam water is known for its unique mineral composition. It is naturally purified and contains higher levels of calcium and magnesium compared to regular water.
